Bio
Matthew Green is a professional hair artist who specializes in creative styling for a multiethnic clientele of men and women. He trained at the Aveda Institute in New York City and has 10 years experience working in New York.
He began to develop his craft at an early age, styling his sister Erica’s hair. Erica, who is blind, trusted Matthew's skill to make her feel beautiful and well presented wherever she went. Over the years, Matthew evolved that trust into a synergistic approach to his craft in which stylist and client work together to conceptualize and create a customized look. Inspired by each client's hair, face and personality, Matthew's aesthetic philosophy is all about enhancing natural beauty and confidence.
"Whether that confidence is in a model about to walk the runway or a woman or man about to walk the street after leaving the salon, it is the boost that inspires me to keep creating new looks and to achieve more out of my hair artistry," says Matthew.
Matthew is continually evolving as a hair stylist through constant exposure to innovative and creative trends in fashion.
